Why do we do Mihi, Karakia and Himene

This morning Mrs Tele'a challenged us by asking why do we do this every morning mihi,karakia,himene?  This is my group that thought up our answer to Mrs Tele'a

The following is what my class responded to Mrs Tele'a

1. Connect to Atua,greater power source.
2. Connect-remember our ancestors,whanau.
3. Know where we are from.
4. Build confidence to speak and represent ourselves and whanau.
5. To be ready for our day future of learning.
